“Those who invest in science invest in the future, those who cut science hope for the best.” – Frank Wilczek

Cutting-edge research is expensive. Raising money for science is an art of its own. Despite his academic youth, Tom has a very strong track record in securing research funding. To date, he has obtained fellowships and grants totalling over 150’000’000 CZK (6’000’000 EUR). Tom shares his experience in a grant-writing course at Masaryk University (C5895: Independent Research Project Preparation) targeted at Ph.D. students aiming to apply for postdoctoral fellowships.
