Parisa Pakari was born in 1995 in Iran and received her B.Sc. in applied chemistry from K. N. Toosi University of Technology in Tehran followed by an M.Sc. in organic chemistry from the same institution as the top-ranked student. Her master’s research focused on the Migratory Cycloisomerization of O-Allyloxy Benzoisocyanides under the supervision of Prof. Balalaie. In 2024, she completed a short-term research stay at the University of Freiburg under the supervision of Prof. Breit and later joined the University of Nizwa in Oman as a research assistant. Her research interests lie at the interface of organic chemistry and chemical biology, and she is currently preparing to pursue doctoral research focused on ligand-directed strategies for the selective manipulation of CNS receptors, aiming to develop traceless and cell-selective approaches for studying and modulating receptor function.
